Cater: Ca-ter (verb) to provide food. To take special pains in seeking to gratify another’s needs or desires. A sorcerer of delectable food !

Following an extensive Chef Program and Event Management at George Brown & Durham College, Delectable & Delicious Catering became a reality.

Sandi has been “Tantalizing Tastebuds” in Durham Region & the Kawartha’s since 1989.

The company catered events from 50 people to 1500. One memorable event was a Product Launch Cocktail Reception for 500 at Parkwood Estates in Oshawa.

Delectable & Delicious was the host caterer for the Oshawa Bridal Event for 9 years, opening the doors to being the host caterer at the Parkwood Estate mansion, Penryn Park Golf Club and numerous other venues.

In 2006 the decision was made to follow her dream and relocate to a 6900 square foot home she had designed and constructed in Bucerias Mexico. The property “Casa Cielito Lindo” (beautiful heaven) evolved into an Award Winning B&B because of her culinary experience.

With many requests from neighbours, expats and the community she brought her talent to the local Farmer’s Markets selling Pre-Made Frozen, Ready to eat soups & meals. The venture was a huge success so in 2024 after returning to the area it only made sense to

offer her talents locally. 

In this crazy time of exorbitant food costs, pre-made dinners reduce the cost of ingredients & waste.

The demographics of seniors, shut-ins and busy schedules make the use of tasty, affordable meals a necessity in the area. The soups and meals tend to be ample enough to feed two and there is a vast selection of “comfort foods” to choose from. Drop by the Lindsay Farmers market and sample a different taste each Saturday.
